I have a site-to-site VPN remote site terminated on the Cisco router 2800. I have two kinds of ACL, one is applied for restricting inbound traffic in the port on the router that is connected to the internet, and the other ACL is applied for the crypto matched address. The VPN tunnel works fine, but we figured out the remote site is not able to access to one of the host at DMZin HQ. . And I know we have ACL to alllow the remote site network accessing to the host in HQ on the cyrpto ACL on the remote router. I added the ACL to allow the host from HQ to access to the remote site network on the inbound traffic ACL. Why do I need to add this ACL in order to make this worked? is it routing or IP address overlap issue? Any doucmenation is helpful. Please advise.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
