I am looking at a resilient WAN soultion and I need to configure VRRP on our Cisco WAN routers as we have HP switches in the LAN.
I know that HSRP was fixed so that before sending an ICMP redirect it would check to see if the router it was redirecting the host to was a member of a HSRP group. If so it would modify the redirect so the host would be told about the HSRP address and not the real address to avoid hosts learning real addresses instead of HSRP ones.
Does this haooen for VRRP also if you use multiple VRRP groups?
