Hello,
We are deploying some 2801 and 2811 routers for remote sites with T1 lines after the new year. In the past we have been using 2621's with WIC-1DSU cards. I know that the 1MFT cards can be configured to handle T1 data services, but should we stick with the V2 cards? Basically I'm just wondering what the major differences between the two are and if there are any pros or cons to going with one or the other.

The MFT has 2 ports per WIC and they support PRI (not 100% sure on the WIC-1DSU-T1). We use both and port density is why we choose one over the other. If you're using VoIP, then the MFT is the way to go. If it's just data, both work fine with no major gotcha's (that I've seen yet).

By VoIP do you mean the MFT card as a PRI? We do use a hosted Cisco Call Manager, but the T1 lines are setup for data T1 lines, not a PRI setup.

Yes that is what I meant :-)
