Hi Friend,
Two channel groups can be supported per VWIC2 module. When a 2 port VWIC2 is used, only 1 channel group is supported per port.

Your mentioens answer was about VWIC2 , but is it the same for VWIC as well ?

Hi Ankur,
I have a setup wherein i am using a VWIC-1MFT-G703 and have configured 3 channel groups and is working fine
see the below output

Hi Narayan
You can configure more than 2 channel group in VWIC2.The channel-group limits depend on where you insert the VWIC2.
e.g. in Case of 3800 HWIC slots: max 128 channel-groups across all 4 HWIC slots & in case of 2800 it's limited to 2 channel groups per HWIC slot.
Also limitation is per slot & not on VWIC2 port
