VWIC2-2MFT & VWIC-2MFT channel group prob

hi

i came to know that its not possible to create diff channel groups in VWIC modules.

can anybody explain the reason for this.

Hi

As per the data sheet available it can support two or more channel groups but with that option you can have only one port can be supported in each slot..

do refer the link attached and also the abstract from the same...

"The VWICs also support a channelized capability where the T1 or E1 service can be flexibly split into two or more fractional channel groups. Thus a single physical port can provide connection to multiple sites. (Note: when choosing this mode only a single port can be supported in each WIC slot.)"
