WAN - Bit Interleaved Parity (B3) & FEBE errors on OC-48
We have a Cisco 7606 router connected to an OC-48 circuit and noticed that we are receiving BIP (B3) errors and FEBE errors. We tested the circuit out and everything seems fine. The errors are very small and increment slightly every few hours or so. Is there a recommended limit, threshold or frequency that would raise cause for concern? Are there other areas that we should be looking at to determine where the problem is?
