We have currently running following WAN setup for our core site.
1- All remote sites have 34M cct, connected to core site over 155M MPLS links using 7200 router at core.
2-backup is over ISDN using 3600 router or some sites have 2nd MPLS backup link.
3-Some remote sites have 10M, connected to core through different SP over 100M MPLS using 3800 router.
Now we would install 100M full mesh VPN over internet as secondary/backup link to our remote sites to core site using Juniper FW .We would like to consolidate all these WAN links, possibly into one or two devices ,but instead of we decide manualy ,primary and backup path ( either 34M MPLS or 100M VPN) , it should depend on better service or availabilty on both core or remote sites.
Please can some advise if they are using similar approach by using IPSLA / PFR or any other ?
