WAN/LAN slowness troubleshooting

Greetings All,

A few questions.

1. How many T1 controller errors per second would it take to affect a WAN link communication. (E.g Line code violations, Path code violation, Errored Sec etc.) If my memory serves me well Cisco states that the "errors" have to be 1% of the total traffic traversing the equipment.

2. What does the "no adjacency" drop count of the "show ip traffic" output mean? I could not find any documentation explaning this.

Re: WAN/LAN slowness troubleshooting

Doing a "sh ip traffic" the output shows a lot of "no route" counts. See:

Sent: 11242534 generated, 1646732885 forwarded

Drop: 29 encapsulation failed, 0 unresolved, 0 no adjacency

1647152511 no route, 0 unicast RPF, 0 forced drop

As there is a default route in the routing-table there should be no discards due to "no route". The interesting thing is, that the counter "forwarded" is nearly the same and both counters increase nearly at the same rate.
