Hi, I recently purches a WAP 2000 and would like to add it to our network but I am having a terrible time. I've plugged it in, but I cannot access it via it's default ip/gateway.... the instruction say to use 192.168.1.245... however our router dishes out IP's like 126.96.36.199.... how can I access the router config to get it on the same page?
Not familiar with WAP, but before connecting it to the network you may need to configure it as standalone first. Connect it to your laptop and give it an IP in the same range that is in the instruction. Once you are in, than you can deploy the IP, DNS, DHCP, username, password, etc..... then connect it to the network
