Wccp and GRE

I am using GRE tunnel on my router interface,,i want to know that is wccp a better solution instead of GRE?

Well, GRE and WCCP are two different technologies. WCCP (Web Cache Control Protocol) is used to redirect web traffic to a content engine. GRE is used to create tunnels between routers in order to facilitate different solutions.
