I currently have a proxy server setup with Dansguardian using Sonicwall's web client. The sonicwall is acting as our firewall and is facing the internet. It just redirects all web traffic to our proxy server before leaving. It works great, the only problem is when I try to view the source ip address, it shows up as the sonicwalls ip address. I cannot tell who has been going to what sites and I cannot create different filter groups because of this.
I have a cisco 2811 facing the Sonicwall and was wondering if WCCP maintains the source ip address or if it does the same thing that the sonicwall does and just list the routers own ip address as the source ip address.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
