weired syslog message on my cisco 3845

i received this syslog message on my cisco 3845 router

Nov 11 13:36:06.265 UTC: ASSERTION FAILED: file "../les/if_ng_dslsar_tx.c", line 385

does any one has an idea what is that message mean.

I believe that the assertion failed message is an indicator of a software problem. What version of code is running on this 3845? If it is covered by a maintenance contract the best alternative would be to open a case with Cisco TAC to figure out what to do about this.

unfortunatly we don`t have maintanence contract but this is the show version if you have any idea
