I currently have FIOS installed at my home. I am using the Actiontec router that came with my installation. I'm having issues with the wireless bridge.
I have the Actiontec set up for WPA security and when I put the information into the the wirless bridge, it does not connection. Now, when I switch the Actiontec to WPA2 and do the same on the bridge, it will connect and I'm able to pass traffic, however, I'm unable to use DHCP. I think the wireless bridge will get an IP address from the DHCP server, but it doesn't seem to pass the packets to the ethernet ports.
I have understood that others are using WPA and it works terrific. Why can't I get a connection using WPA with the Actiontec? Also, why can't I get DHCP using WPA2? Is there a command line that I can use to set the information like an IOS?
Thanks for letting me know and I look forward to getting this solved.
