I have a 1720 router that I need to take in a T1 and send 12 channels to the data side and 11 channels to the PBX. I am using a wic-1T serial card to connect to the old Merlin Magix PBX and I am using a vwic-1mft-t1 for the inbound T1 to carve up the channels. I cannot get the router to allow me to setup the controller t1 0. It doesn't recognize it. In that past it has meant a new IOS and that fixed it. I uploaded a 12.2 IOS code but still no luck. Any recommendations?
To use a VWIC-MFT lowest possible router are 1721. 1720 not supported.
Recommend to use 2600 or higher
