What router do I need for fiber?

Which router do I need for a fiber connection 10meg burstable to 100meg?

I am guessing the 3800 series, but I have no idea if thats all I need or if there are additional components to the router that need to be addressed...?

Thanks for your help in advance!

The 3800 series router has a SFP gigabit ethernet port which can be used for gigabit fiber conenctivity instead of copper.

HTH,

Thanks for the reply - I suppose I need to be a little more specific - we have equipment from our ISP that handles the fiber coming in so I just need to take the handed off ethernet cable and plug it into my network. Would a good managed switch do the same thing as the 3800? I know the lines are being blurred between what a switch used to do and what they can do now. I know Dell offers a lot of managed Layer2 and 3 switches that might do the trick? Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated!

Much thanks in advance!!!
