I am attaching the packet tracer file "Wrong Rip.pkt", in which i have configured networks as in the pic http://i.lulzimg.com/7c8a2d69de.png , The problem is when i remove the network 10.1.4.0 from the scene, everything works perfectly i.e each router can communicate with each other but when its in the design router networks unable to talk... What am i doing wrong???

Hi,

for VLSM support and discontiguous networks like in your topology you must use RIP v2 and disable auto-summary.

on all routers:

conf t

router rip

ver 2

no auto

do clear ip route *

then verify all the networks are in the routing table: sh ip route rip
