Hi There

I would rather go on the training, which course is most suitable for this ?

Carl,

You can look at CBTNuggets (although I find them to be a huge joke), Cisco NetAcademy, and or CCNP/CCIE training courses online will cover BGP. You can also look up Boson training etc.

But, I have to agree with pdriver, it would be cheaper and IMO a whole let better for you, if you got some kindle books or books from the links he posted above.

But which ever method works best for you, I would do.

Hi,

IMHO, the most effective way is to read some BGP books first, then play with it a lab for a basic understanding.

THEN to go for a training and use it to raise questions.

And finally to review the traing materials in a lab again.

Best regards,

Milan

hi carl,

go for CCNA SP SPNGN2 (640-878) exam if you want to get started with BGP.

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/exams/docs/640-878_spngn2.pdf

SPROUTE is CCNP level.

for trainings, go this to link:

http://tools.cisco.com/GlobalLearningLocator/courseDetails.do?actionType=executeCourseDetail&courseID=5779&keyWordSearched=TRN-SPNGN2

the CLN is basically your best friend. good luck!
