I just got a WIC-2T that I tried installing on in Slot 0 of my 1841 router running IOS 15.1, and it appears to be failing the POST as the lights all go out immediately after the ethernet lights first start up. I haven't tried the WIC card on another device yet, but the 1841 booted right up just before putting the WIC card in the slot.
Is there any reason the WIC-2T would cause the 1841 running 15.1 to fail POST?
Thanks!

That means the WIC-2T is faulty.
The Cisco 1841 router has two interface card slots. Each slot can accommodate a Cisco WIC, VWIC (data only mode), or a single-wide high-speed WIC (HWIC).

Yup, you were correct. Swapped a known working WIC card in the slot and the device booted right up and recognized the serial interfaces.
