Hi I recently plugged in a VWIC-1MFT-G703 into my 2600 running 12.2(1). I keep getting the above error message plus when I run show diag I get the following

I think that VWIC is not supported on the 23600 series, but I cannot check that because I am having some problem accessing the web site at the moment.

Hi Kevin,

I'm pretty sure it is supported by the 2600 because the installation manual that came with the card stated that it works with the 2600,3600 and 3700.

Please paste the show version from your router. let me know if you are using this module in onboard WIC slot or NM.

Hi amit,

It's slotted in Slot w0 as required by the manual which on the 2600 is at the rightmost upper slot.Show diag states WIC slot 0 as having unknown WAN daughter card. I am assuming WIC slot 0 = w0 so I am guessing it is in the right slot. Will upload the show version asap as I'm not in the office.
