Windows Server on 2960X and Link up / down

I run a stack of WS-2960X-48TD-L width 15.0(2)EX5. This stack was an exchange for an WS-C4506 with Sup V.

Since the Stack ist running instead of the 4500, Ports leading to servers running Windows 2008/2012 go down unintentionally. This happens multiple times a day, I have to reset the network connection at the server every time. A shut / no shut on the switch does not work.

Timestamp of the log entry between Server and Switch differs between 30 and 90 minutes!

Any Idea why this could happen?

1.  Can you try and set the interface to 100 Mbps (speed auto 100) and see if this normalizes?

2.  Post the output to the "sh logs" when the interface goes down.  I want to see the cause (to why the interface goes down) and why you can't shut/no shut it.

NOTE:  Your description sounds like a cabling issue and #1 is one way of determining if my suspicion is correct or not.
