Wrong IOS image is booted

I have a 2821 router, with the following boot statements :

boot-start-marker

boot system flash c2800nm-entservicesk9-mz.123-11.T7.bin

boot system flash

boot-end-marker

In flash I have the following images :

1 26725176 Dec 14 2005 10:00:34 +00:00 c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.123-11.T8.bin

10 27994680 Feb 01 2006 14:06:28 +00:00 c2800nm-entservicesk9-mz.123-11.T7.bin

I want to boot the entservices, (as per the config statment) but when I do show ver, I see the SPServices loaded and :

System image file is "flash:c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.123-11.T8.bin"

I think I may have encountered something similar before when the config registers conflicted with the boot setting and had to be modified in rmon mode - but it can't find the details on this. Is this right ?

Can you post the output from

show version

show boot

and

dir flash:

First we should verify the current setting of the config register. The easy way to find it is in the output of show version.

Assuming that the config register is set to 0x2102 we should look for other explanations. When the router boots are there messages to the console that indicate problems in finding the specified image file? If you could boot the router, capture all the console output while it boots, and post that output it might help us find the problem.

Looking at the output that you posted I would expect to have a : after the word flash and before the c2800nm. I do not see it in the output that you posted. If it is not there could you add it and see if it makes a difference?
