Hi, I have a scenario and not sure how to do or if it's capable to be configured onto a Cisco router.
The original scenario is:
(X.25 Host)--PVC--(PAD)--Async--(Terminal Server)--LAN IP Telnet--(Provision Console)
The provision console do a telnet to Terminal Server, the Terminal Server executes a reverse telnet and the datagram is directed into the Async port and enters a PAD, a PVC is assigned and connected the async port to X.25 Host.
Now the PAD is out of maintenance, and I try to combine the PAD and Terminal Server into one Cisco router. But I don't know how to mapping the vty into the PVC, especially no X.121 address is assigned on the X.25 Host's X.25 port since it's a PVC-oriented port.
(X.25 Host)--X.25 PVC--(Cisco Router)--LAN IP Telnet--(Provision Console)
If anyone can give me a config example will be great, or let me know if it can't be done. I try to study materials on CCO technologt page, but only SVC sample can be found.
