IronPort, now part of Cisco, is pleased to announce the General Availability of Maintenance Release AsyncOS 6.0.1-006 for Web. This release applies to all of the Web Security Appliances (S-Series).
Partial list of defects fixed in 6.0.1-006 * Fixed: End-user acknowledgement page link contains client IP instead of Web Security appliance IP after DNS failure. [Defect ID: 49114] * Fixed: Web Proxy generates a core file when persistent server connections are used in some cases. [Defect ID: 50334] * Fixed: Web Proxy leaks memory and generates a core file after several hours of processing malformed HTTP requests. [Defect ID: 51850] * Fixed: Access logs do not contain entries for requests from users with spaces in the user name. [Defect ID: 52092]
For further information about these as well as a list of all defects resolved in this release, please refer to the AsyncOS Release Notes.
The same restrictions as for 6.0.0 for Web apply: Centralized Management via a M-Series of S-Series running 6.0.1 is not supported. You'd need to stay on 5.7.1 for Web / 6.7.0 for Management (GA) or upgrade to 6.3.0 for Web / 6.7.3 for Management (FCS). For more details please refer to the respective release notes on the support portal.
I'd encourage you to have a look at the release notes and to upgrade to 6.0.1 at your convenience.
