IP Address Excluded on Reporting

Hi Gurus,

Sorry for posting this query tho...but can i exclude an ip address (say my ip address) from the report generation?

Since im the IT and id like to be proxied to ironport but i dont like my address to be on the report... (sounds nuts but is it doable?)

There is no way that I am aware of doing this, via the WSA. You could run a script on the log file, to convert your IP into a dash (-) before running the logs into a separate reporting program (such as Sawmill).

There is no way to change the onbox reporting in this way.

Alternatively you could do this in Sawmill itself as a log filter - just match on your IP address, and rewrite it to something else or remove the log entry entirely.

As Josh has said, there's no way to do this on the box itself.
