Sawmill for Non-IronPort Use

Can I use my Sawmill server to analyze non-Ironport devises such as webserver logs? If not, can it be licensed that way?

Thanks,
Tim

Re: Sawmill for Non-IronPort Use

The Sawmill for IronPort package only contains log decoders for the IronPort WSA logs.

You'd need to install the main branch of Sawmill from the the Sawmill site. It's possible that the files to decode other logs can be added back into Sawmill for Ironport, but that is not a supported process.

As far as I know, the license used in Sawmill for IronPort will work perfectly fine for the standard Sawmill program (same licenses).
