Upload performance degrades on upgrading from 7.5.0

Hi,

We recently upgraded our WSAs to 7.5.1-079 and now have very poor performance when uploading data. According to Cisco, this is a known bug, see...

CSCui45649          Bug Details
Upload performance degrades on upgrading from 7.5.0.
Symptom:
Upload performance through the WSA is slow.

Conditions:
Upgrading to 7.5.1-079 from previous WSA version degrades upload performance.

Workaround:
Revert to previous 7.5.0 version.

The Workaround states "Revert to previous 7.5.0 version." but according to Cisco documentation you cannot downgrade AsyncOS. We upgraded from 7.5.1-079 to 7.5.1-201 but still have the same issue.

Has anyone experienced this bug and arrived at a workable solution?

Thanks and regards,

Bill Peters.

Problem solved. Since ver 7.5 it is possible to revert to a previous version. I ended up going down to 7.5.0-833 and my perfomace problems went away. Not happy that Cisco released 7.5.1-201 without having fixed the bug in 7.5.1-079!!

Hi Bill,

7.5.1-201 included some security vulnerability fixes only.  Version 7.5.2 will have the issue resolved.  It's currently in an FCS state right now (not declared as stable).  It should be released fairly soon though.  If you are interested in 7.5.2, go ahead and open a TAC case and have them provision you for it.
