We have received some calls in regards to failing AsyncOS upgrades. If you try upgrading your Appliance and the upgrade does not complete, the following steps should help you out:
1) Try again later => Most of the time, upgrade issues are caused by network issues or load and trying again at a later time (preferably when the box is not seeing much traffic) will very often work. 2) Configure a local proxy to fetch the upgrade images via 'CLI - updateconfig' => On your WSA, just use the WSA itself as a proxy for upgrades. You might need to create a policy to bypass authentication.
If this does not help, please get in touch with Customer Support so that they can have a closer look at the issue and help you upgrading your Appliance.
We are seeing an internal issue that can make upgrade failures more likely. We apologize for the inconvenience and promise to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.
