Webex Telepresence (Callway) recording option...

Greetings...

How can a customer record their video conference calls when using the cloud-based Webex Telepresence MCU/video bridge service?

Other than (it's not supported yet) or (never will be supported) Can TCS call into a conf bridge?

Or will Webex Telepresence ever offer a call out option?

Hi Darren,

A TCS would only be able to call into a bridge if it could be configured as an endpoint, which is not the case.  So, unfortunately, this cannot be done.  The bridge will not have capabilities to ever have a call out option like Webex Meetings, which I am sure that feature is what you are referring.  Meeting recording is not on the roadmap for this service.

These features are available in the Webex Enabled Telepresence service, but this is on-prem.  Here is a link that explains the service in more detail.
