CM showing wrong OS code

Hi all,

We installed new WAE into the network with 4.1.5f code, but when i look from the central manager it is showing 4.1.5c.,, wierd,, the whole setup is working on 4.1.5f.. any reasons ,, or possible solution.

Hi Dhana,

Did you refresh the CM gui screen and is it still showing up as 4.1.5c? Is the CM running WAAS 4.1.5f?

Could you send me the CM screenshot showing the wrong software ,along with sh ver and sh cms info output from the device cli.

Hi,

I have attached screenshot of CM. The CM is running on the OS 4.1.5f. The WAE is implemented with OS 4.1.5f.

As per the CM screenshot I see that wae devices brcpwa1,breswa1 and brmawa1 are showing up as 4.1.5c

As per the wae device cli output looks like the wae hostname is xxwa1 and I don't see this one on the CM screenshot?

Is the xxwa1 wae device also showing up as 4.1.5c for sware on the CM gui? The xxwa1 should show up under the Device Name(Mange Devices) on the CM gui

As per cms info the device last synced with CM today at 18:05:36

If refreshing the CM gui screen is still showing this device as 4.1.5c then I will need to get logs from both the device and the CM to further troubleshoot.

Could you send me sysreport from the wave-574 device and the CM? Please email the sysreports to smnambia@cisco.com

Hi Smita,

Thanks, The issue was resolved after the WAE was upgraded with OS again. The issue was due to improper loading of OS code from rescue CD.
