After I make configuration changes either from a WAE device CLI or from CM GUI, how do the changes get synced between CMS and individual WAE? Does CM poll every WAE peoridically to check for difference in configurations? and how often? or every WAE polls the CM to check configs?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
Answers for you:
After I make configuration changes either from a WAE device CLI or from CM GUI, how do the changes get synced between CMS and individual WAE?
Ans: If you change it from CM, it gets pushed to WAE immediately. if you change it on WAE, it gets pushed to CM but is most cases, depending upon your group configuration.
Does CM poll every WAE peoridically to check for difference in configurations? without any change at every 300 seconds. with change, immediately.
or every WAE polls the CM to check configs? not always. msot of the polling from WAE to CM is for statistics purpose.
More details on polling is here:
Configuring Faster Detection of Offline WAAS Devices
Or modify the system properties of CM --> Configure --> System Properties --> System.datafeed.pollRate. Please note: This not required in most cases, though.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
