how the users use the cache?

in a simple design, a datacenter with one wae and a branch with another wae. If a user download a file, this file will be cached in the branch wae; if another user request the same file this second file will come from the branch wae or will come one new file from the datacenter wae?

Hi Claudio,

I believe you are talking about the CIFS file transfer. If that's true, this file will come out of local WAE but there will be reference exchange plus file verification done by branch WAE to actual server before the file is sent to user.

Same thing. I assumed CIFS as you mentioend about file copy operation. You can do this simple test. Copy a 10-20 meg file and recopy the same file. You will see the difference.
