Does anyone have any real world performance numbers from the impact of enabling the http metacaching and http compression suppression features in the newer version of WAAS 4.2.1 and 4.2.3? I have not done any testing from before our recent upgrades but we have been enabling both features and have been seeing really great HTTP acceleration as usual.
In addition. are there any cases where one would not want to enable these features?
I am not having any numbers with me but overall, customers are reporting good optimization using new http features. The best person to get you some real numbers is your Cisco Sales Team member. They may be able to get you some real numbers from their customer.
Hope this helps.
