Preposition and Windows GPO

I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into this.

We are trying to use the preposition service.  We have read all the documentation and are still coming up empty.  Essentially what we have found is that if we try to make a CIFS connection to a server on our domain with all of our normal GPO's in place, the WAE fails to authenticate to the Windows box.  This can be seen in the Event Viewer on the server with a 537 error in the Security Log.  If we move the server in AD to an OU without our standard GOP's applied, the CIFS connection happens successfully with no errors.  We have tried modifying every GPO that has to do with authentication with no luck.

Has anyone seen this or have any idea what settings in group policy must/must not be changed in order for the CIFS connection to work?

Thanks in advance.
