Re: WAAS alarm

Alexander,

Kernel Crash and User Core files are created by Cisco WAAS when software exception is encoutered. Kernel Crash files contain debug information about low level Operating System (OS) errors and are written to the /local1/crash directory. User Core files are created by individual processes when they restart due to an error. Core files are written to the /local1/core_dir directory. Kernel Crash and/or User Core files should be analyzed by TAC to determine their root cause. Alternatively you can attach one of the files to this post and I will analyze it for you.

Thanks,

Zach
