WAAS Design

Deal all,

our client wants the following setup:

company in Paris is running WAAS setup but they have to deploy in other regions like UAE.

Abu dhabi will be core WAE for other locations within UAE like dubai.

But Abu dhabi will be edge for Paris and other reigions so is it possible to configure one WAE and central mangar as core in abu dhabi and edge at the same time for Paris?

Or CM in Paris will take care of UAE CM and WAE.

Re: WAAS Design

I think it is possible. The WAAS solution must provide high availability to existing network services. WAAS is also expected to scale from small remote sites to large data centers. Because the WAE can be located anywhere between the origin server and the client, designs must able to accommodate installation of the WAE at various places in the network, such as the data center or WAN edge.
