A WAAS withe dual disk DISK-SATA2-250GB. One disk failed and I want to replace the drive.

The question is, once I swap the drives will the new drive get rebuilt automatically?

Thanks

Follow the following instructions on cisco.com

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/waas/v413/configuration/guide/maint.html#wp1139597

Also remember, the WAE-512 doesn't have hot swap cabability, so you should power off the device after you have performed the "disk disk-name diskxx shutdown" command before pulling the faulty drive.

Hope that helps,

Dan
