Wae 674 Media Test Failure

Hi my name is Ivan

I have a wae 674 totally new. I did the upgrade of memory from 2 to 4 GB, putting the couple of memory in slots 7 and 10. When I power on the wae, I observe the follow mistake

Broadcom UNDI PXE v2.85

Copyright (C)  2000x2006 Broadcom Corporation

Copyright (C)  1997x2000 Intel Corporation

All right reserved

PXExE61:Media Test failure, check cable

PXExMOF: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM

After that the wae continue showing me the same

Please could you tell me? What's mean Media Test failure? What should I do?

Thanks

Wae 674 Media Test Failure

Hi Ivan,

Try going  back to original setup and see if that helps. Please use only Cisco supplied memory.

If that does not help, you may have bad memory modules and may need to RMA it.

It also seems like it is not recognizing hard drives / raid controller. try reseating hard drives and raid controller.

You may want to use recovery CD and apply recovery process defined here.

Good luck.
