Hello All,

- I'm doing this command copy ftp disk 148.92.85.118 / WAAS-4.0.19.14-K9.bin WAAS-4.0.19.14-K9.bin and   I was able to start the ftp download, but the download is timing out after 1/3 of the file transfer.

- Could someone tell me what i'm missing or doing wrong ?

The Image have 254 MB and as you can see i've copied only 179MB

Hi,

This sounds like an issue with your FTP server timing out the connection.  You may want to increase the timeout value on the FTP server, or you can enable FTP services on the WAE itself and upload to it.

On the CLI of the 7341 enter the config command inetd enable ftp.

Then from your PC command prompt FTP into the WAE with the admin account and put the file.

Example:

C:\>ftp 14.110.3.19

Connected to 14.110.3.19.

220-Welcome to the PDI WAAS Network.  Please DO NOT make any permanent

220-changes without consulting mkorenba@cisco.com

220-Cisco Wide Area Application Engine

220-

220-

220 pdi-7341-19.pdiwaas.cisco.com FTP server (Version wu-2.7.0(1) Thu Jul 29

04:43 PDT 2010) ready.

User (14.110.3.19:(none)): admin

331 Password required for admin.

Password:

230-User admin logged in.  Access restrictions apply.

230-Device is configured with a (well known) default username/password for ea

of initial configuration.

230 This default username/password should be changed in order to avoid unwant

access to the device.

ftp> bin

200 Type set to I.

ftp> hash

Hash mark printing On  ftp: (2048 bytes/hash mark) .

ftp> prompt

Interactive mode Off .

ftp> mput *.bin

Then you can go back to the WAE and issue the install command, and reload the WAE to complete the upgrade.
