WAE NM 502 Compact Flash problems

HI,

I' am having problems with the Compact flash card. WAE does not want to boot. When I use a CF card from an another WAE NM it works flawless.

I have a another CF card but I don't know how and what to copy on it.

For what is the CF card used in the WAE NM

Your best bet is to RMA the entire network module, as none of the parts are intended to be field replaceable.

That being said, the system software is what gets loaded on the flash. You can recover the system software using the procedure documented here:

The WAAS software is installed on the flash and disk. If you have shown that the problem follows the flash card, it would be best to get an RMA for the unit.

We found out that the HDD was damaged too, so we replaced it and put a new software on it.

In addition we tried to clone a working CF with a new one but the module still does not want to boot. Right now we use a working flash card to boot the module.

We dont have time for a RMA.
