Does anyone know if the 7920 will actually work with a 1252? I'm about to deploy a 4400 with 1140's and 1252's running 22.214.171.124 code. This is an upgrade where the site is currently using autnomous 1231's (the 1231's are being replaced with the new AP's). The site currently has a few 7920 handsets that they would like to use. It's not crucial that they work, but I don't want to spend a few hours banging my head against the wall trying to make these things work.
Thanks - I figured "not supported" meant "some configurations might work, but might not, and Cisco will not provide support either way". Since the client is not using TKIP, I figured the phones might work, but that we would get no support from Cisco. The client is prepared to purchase new handsets, but is OK with using their current ones in an unsupported configuration for a little while longer.
