AP1131 (Autonomous) 802.11a config for 7921 phones Help

I would like to config 802.11a radio of AP1131 (Autonumus mode)  to work with 7921 ip phones. I have some doubts.

In 7921 deployment guide says that i should leave one channel of separation for adjacent AP's. How can i config that in autonomous mode? In 802.11B/G radio i can use comand channel X but und 802.11a interface i only have channel DFS.

I am in Europe what band should i use? Only a UNII-1 channel (channels 36, 40, 44, 48) ?

Is my interface config correct?

interface Dot11Radio1
no ip address
no ip route-cache
encryption vlan 20 mode ciphers tkip
ssid Voice
countermeasure tkip hold-time 0
dfs band 3 4 block
speed  basic-12.0 18.0 24.0 36.0 48.0 54.0
channel dfs
station-role root fallback shutdown
bridge-group 1
bridge-group 1 suno bridge-group 1 source-learning
no bridge-group 1 unicast-flooding
bridge-group 1 spanning-disabled
service-policy input data_policy
service-policy output data_policy
bridge-group 1 block-unknown-source

Any tips or suggestions would be great!

Best Regards

Make sure you add the command "admit-traffic" under the dot11 ssid config.

Thanks for you reply but my question is regarding what channels should i use in 802.11a and how to config them in AP1131 in autonomous mode.

The 7921 supports UNII-1, UNII-2, UNII-2 extended, and UNII-3.  So you really can use any channel.

To configure the channel just:

config t

interface d1

channel <#>

Re: AP1131 (Autonomous) 802.11a config for 7921 phones Help

In 802.11b/g i can do that:

int dot0

channel #

But in 802.11a

I can only config channel dfs

How can i config channels staticly to config channels separation in adjacent AP's?

I'm in Europe and i saw in 7921 deploy guide that i only have 19 channels available in 802.11a so   it could mean that i souldn't use all UNII-1, UNII-2, UNII-2 extended, and UNII-3.
