CISCO DPC3925

I have just switch to Cisco wireless modem DPC3925 + Starhub provider.

But I face a problem already:

     When it's connected via LAN cable, it's frequently re-connecting, i.e. disconnected and connected back.

     Note: I have not verify the

Is it a device defect?

Or is it functionally designed this way?

Any comment?

Our Cable company uses the DPC3925 and yes it was dropping all the time. They had to change the WIFI login from "mixed" to " WEP" and that fixed the problem.
