Confirming Power 7920 to AP communications?

Hi All,

Anyone know how one can confirm what power setting a 7920 is communicating at to an AP?

I do have the "power client" commands on the AP setup, but I would like to confirm. Is there any way to check on a 7920 or on an AP what the power setting is in real time??

Obviously they should be talking at whatever the power client command is set to, but is there any way to confirm this?

You use to be able to an a 7920 ip phone with 1.x firmware, before dynamic power was available.

I've tried a few commands on an AP, but no luck....

thanks,

Paul

In recent images, there is a "Current Tx Power" menu which will show you what the 7920 is using (Menu>Network Config>802.11b Configuraiton>Current Tx Power).

7920 only supports 1,5,20,50,100. Support for 100mw depends on the regulatory domain.
