Filtering on CISCO AP 350 (c)

Operating filters on AP 350, here is my question:

What is the difference between the radio filters and the ETH filters, between RECEIVE and TRANSMIT for both ? I mean when, for instance, would I use the ETH filter rather than the radio filter for a given filter set ?

Thanks and best regards,

guy

Re: Filtering on CISCO AP 350 (c)

Ethernet Protocol Filters is for the access point's Ethernet port (wired LAN port), and Radio Protocol Filters is for the access point's radio port. (for wireless clients)..For example, an SNMP filter on the access point's radio port prevents wireless client devices from using SNMP with the access point but does not block SNMP access from the wired LAN...Here is the link which explains that in detail..
