Hello guys,

I have the next escenario, 9 APs 1142 installed that at the same time they connect a one RADIUS server to secure the network,

     (Wireless clints -- APs -- RADIUS server -- Aplications/Internet )

Now, we have to add another RADIUS Server, this is in case of the primary  server falls, the other one comes in action, the configuration

has been made, however has not bee tested, we can not  shut down the primary RADIUS server this is because it

cointains more applications, one way that could test if the backup radious server si working, is to delete of the configuration the primary

radious server, how can I know if the backup server is working? exist one command in the IOS of AP to know if the RADIOUS server is working??..

     Regards!

if this is an IOS setup you can use the test command:

test aaa group radius blahblah blahblah new-code

**blahblah being he username and password you want to send.  It doesn't have to be valid, just need a response.
