Hi ,

IPSEC is good as it is very robust and no one has

hacked this protocol yet .

Few issues with ipsec are

a) Only for ip unicast ( no ipx support )

b) No roaming supported

c) we loose 801.x QOS enhance feature using ipsec

d) More overhead and cpu intensive so more hardware

needed

Depending on 802.1x technique you use you have to

make sure that clients , AP and radius all supports

same technique . So if you have mixed vendor of

clients with different OS may create issues

thanks
