hi all,
we would like to deploy a Wireless VoIP infrastructure with many phones in a small area. I would like to know if there's any recommendation about the maximum phones that can support each Ap simultaneously. Does it just depend on the bandwidth?

There are a lot of factors that come into play with this: what codec on the phones? what frequency (2.4 or 5GHz)? what model AP?
Realistically you can probably expect anywhere from 7 - 12 concurrent calls, the AP itself could support upwards of 15+ connected phones, the problems arise once you make a call.

You can get up to 27 bidirectional streams at 24 Mbps or higher using 802.11a (5GHz) or 802.11g (2.4 GHz).
Can get up to 20 at 12 Mbps
This is from actual test data using a Cisco AP1130 and AP1140.
7 streams only would be with legacy 802.11b (11 Mbps).
