New Vlan does not get ip address.

Folks,

We have an access point, we have configured multiple vlans on it, for some reason when i create a new vlan and associate a ssid to it, the hosts can not obtain ip addresses for that ssid, i am using A radio and using WPA2.

Any Advice would be highly appreciated.

Hi Parwal,

Are the clients connected to the AP?

Did you configure your switch accordingly to trunk that new VLAN? Do you have a proper "ip helper-address" on the router interface on this VLAN?

I am assuming all the other VLANs/SSIDs you have are working properly!?

Hope this helps

Martin
