QoS For Voice on 1130 and 1240 Access Points

Greetings, im currently looking at applying QoS polices to the access points above only to prioritise voice traffic.

<br />We are using 7921 handsets throughout, is it ok just to enable the defaults for voice under "Access Categories" and enable "QoS Element for Wireless Phones" and Dot11e or would you recommend configuring custom polices and apply them to relevant interfaces?

Ive also experienced problems enabling WMM with these handsets after which they are unable to associate to the access point?

Just enabling QoS Element for Wireless Phones and Dot11e should be enough.

Don't bother with custom policies unless you want to prioritize other types of traffic.
