video over wifi

I have an autonomys wireless network.

1242 AP's and Cisco 3560 PoE switchs, WLSE.

I have a new application for deaf interpriting in a hospital environment.

No special configs just differnet ssids using WPA, Leap , WEP . This is one device that is on its own ssid and vlan. Signals are excellent, but I get excess packet retrys, and the AP will disassociate the device and then reassociate. This locks up the application. Is there some configuration settings that I could use or could you point me to a information source with config examples. I have looked but cannot find what I need.

Thanks for your help

Re: video over wifi

If you are seeing a lot of packet reties you need to try and discovery why that is...

Things you need to consider:

1) Spectrum Analysis at the time you see high retry rates

2) Check firmware on both the APs and Client

3) A layer 2 analysis and see if another other clients are suffering from retries
